Four Garfinkel Immigration Law Firm attorneys have been honored in the latest edition of Super Lawyers.
Managing Partner Hannah F. Little, Founder Steven H. Garfinkel and Senior Associate Attorney Catherine Magennis were selected to the 2024 North Carolina Super Lawyers list while Partner Colleen F. Molner received a 2024 North Carolina Rising Star designation.
Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented, multiphase process, combining peer nominations, evaluations and independent research. The process is designed to “create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource when searching for legal counsel,” according to the organization. No more than 5 percent of attorneys in North Carolina are named to the Super Lawyers list each year.
Meanwhile, lawyers eligible for the Rising Stars designation must be no older than 40 or in practice for 10 years or less. The Rising Stars designation is awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in North Carolina per edition.
The Garfinkel Immigration Law Firm honorees have been practicing immigration law for almost 80 years, combined, and all four were also recently named to the 2024 Business North Carolina Legal Elite list.
