Garfinkel Immigration Partners Meredith W. Barnette and Colleen F. Molner will continue their “Immigration Solutions for Healthcare Workers” webinar series on Wednesday, July 12 from noon – 1 p.m.
The Partners’ next presentation is entitled “Settling in the U.S.:” Healthcare Worker Green Cards, Part 2 — Schedule A Green Cards for Nurses and PTs and will focus on long-term strategies for healthcare workers to be employed in the U.S. on a permanent, full-time basis.
The latest webinar is intended for nurses, physical therapists, managers and employers in the healthcare industry.
“Our Healthcare Green Card series will be broken up into two parts,” Molner said. “Many nurses and physical therapists are eligible to bypass what is typically the longest and most costly step of the green card process, known as the PERM Labor Certification step, by filing a Schedule A immigrant visa petition, which is the focus of Part 2 of the Green Card series.”
Barnette and Molner have practiced immigration law for almost 30 years, combined, and both have extensive experience leveraging creative approaches to provide insight and legal advice to healthcare professionals.
Molner is certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the North Carolina State Bar, the highest level of specialization attainable in the state, and has previously been recognized by Business North Carolina (BNC) Legal Elite, Who’s Who Legal as well as Super Lawyers.
Barnette regularly prepares nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and manages Garfinkel’s EB-5 practice. She has recently been honored by The Best Lawyers in America© and for her pro bono work.
