Garfinkel Immigration Law Firm Partners Meredith W. Barnette and Colleen F. Molner are launching a new webinar series.
The series, entitled “Immigration Solutions for Healthcare Workers,” is intended for foreign nationals in the healthcare industry including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, technicians, clinicians, healthcare IT specialists as well as healthcare HR professionals and managers.
The first webinar will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 3, from noon – 1 p.m. and is entitled “Getting in the Door:” Short-term Visa Options for Healthcare Workers. The Partners’ presentation will look closely at creative strategies for qualified foreign national healthcare workers in the U.S., including J-1, H-1B, O-1, TN and more nonimmigrant work visa options.
“Our healthcare industry is in significant need of healthcare workers, and the recent pandemic has only magnified that need,” Molner said. “This webinar will examine a wide range of work visa options that could allow qualified professionals to fill these open positions.”
Barnette and Molner have practiced immigration law for almost 30 years, combined, and both have extensive experience leveraging creative approaches to provide insight and legal advice to healthcare professionals.
Molner is certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the North Carolina State Bar, the highest level of specialization attainable in the state, and has previously been recognized by Business North Carolina (BNC) Legal Elite, Who’s Who Legal as well as Super Lawyers.
Barnette regularly prepares nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and manages Garfinkel’s EB-5 practice. She has recently been honored by The Best Lawyers in America© and for her pro bono work.
