Garfinkel Immigration Law Firm Founding Partner Steven Garfinkel and Partner Colleen Molner have been named to the Business North Carolina (BNC) 2020 Legal Elite list.
Attorneys are selected for the award by their N.C. State Bar peers. It is the only legal honor that provides every active lawyer in the state the opportunity to participate, according to Business North Carolina’s website.
Garfinkel, who founded the firm in 1997, has been practicing U.S. Immigration Law for more than 35 years. He is one of a limited number of attorneys certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the North Carolina State Bar and is a Past Chair of the Immigration Specialization Committee.
Garfinkel has been rated by his peers with an AV® Peer Review Rating and is listed in the International Who’s Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America© and Super Lawyers.
Molner has practiced U.S. Immigration Law since 2013. She is also certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the North Carolina State Bar and she was selected as a Future Leader in Corporate Immigration in the 2019 edition of Who’s Who Legal. She has extensive experience in the preparation of complex nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including extraordinary ability petitions, multinational executive and manager petitions, H-1B petitions, E-2 treaty investor applications, L-1 blanket applications and responses to Requests for Evidence.
